Through this journey, you will be able to admire the great number of enigmas that this civilization has left us over millennia: its mysterious pyramids, sphinxes, pharaohs, and funerary monuments, as well as navigating the enigmatic Nile.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival In Cairo

Upon your arrival at Cairo airport, our representative will be there to assist you with all the necessary international procedures, such as visa, passport control, and customs. They will also ensure a fast exit from the airport. You’ll be accompanied to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle for a comfortable and hassle-free transfer.

Day 2

Giza Pyramids - Egyptian Museum

After breakfast, your guide will accompany you on a visit to one of the world’s most enigmatic sites – the Great Pyramids of Giza. These magnificent structures, which include the pyramids of Kings Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, are truly awe-inspiring. After exploring the pyramids, you’ll head to the Sphinx before making your way to the Papyrus Institute to learn about the ancient art of making boats, shoes, and paper from the papyrus plant, after that you will have a Lunch break at a local restaurant.

You will conclude your day with the museum tour, where you’ll explore the vast collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures, including the famous treasures of Tutankhamun. Finally, you’ll be transported back to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

Day 3

Luxor

Breakfast and departure to Cairo airport to take the flight to Luxor. Upon Arrival you will be assisted by our representative. After Check-in you will have lunch on board and depart to visit the temples of Luxor and Karnak, the latter dedicated to Amun. It was the main place of worship in Egypt since the New Kingdom. For more than two millennia, the pharaohs embellished it. The construction of the Luxor temple was mainly promoted by the pharaohs Amenhotep III and Ramses II. Visiting it is entering the fascinating world of the gods, where only the high priests and the pharaoh could access. Up on concluding your tour you will return to the cruise for dinner and spend the night in Luxor.

Day 4

Valley Of The Kings - Temple Of Hatshepsut - Colossi Of Memnon

After breakfast, you will depart to visit the west bank, known as the Theban Necropolis. Here, in a rocky valley, the pharaohs, including Tutankhamun, were laid to rest in underground chambers adorned with exquisite paintings and accompanied by luxurious funerary objects. Against a backdrop of desert gorges, you will find the magnificent funerary temple of Hatshepsut. This temple comprises a series of terraces and porticos adorned with vividly carved pillars. The Colossi of Memnon, towering twin statues measuring approximately eighteen meters in height, once guarded the main entrance of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. After concluding your visit, you will return to the cruise for lunch and have free time to sail south. Upon reaching the Esna navigation lock, you will continue your journey to Edfu. Dinner will be served on board, and you will be accommodated in Edfu.

Optional Tour: balloon ride to see the Theban necropolis.

Day 5

Edfu - Kom Ombo

After breakfast, you will embark on a horse-carriage ride to the Temple of Edfu, which is dedicated to the falcon god Horus. This temple holds the distinction of being the largest single temple in Egypt. Once you have completed your tour, you will return to the cruise and set sail for Kom Ombo. Lunch will be served on board. In the afternoon, you will take a stroll to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which is dedicated to the gods Horus and Sobek, the crocodile. Afterward, you will return to the cruise and continue your journey to Aswan. While on board, you will enjoy a dinner and be accommodated in Aswan.

Day 6

Aswan - High Dam - Philae Temple

Breakfast and departure to visit the beautiful city of Aswan, starting with the Aswan High Dam, which is considered the greatest human work, was completed in 1971. Then visit the beautiful Philae Temple, located on the top of an island in the Nile, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Return to the cruise for lunch. Optional visit to the Nubian village. Free afternoon, dinner on board and accommodation in Aswan.

Day 7

Abu Simbel (optional ) | Cairo

After breakfast, you will check out from your cruise and have the option to visit the Temple of Abu Simbel, which is approximately a 3-hour drive away. Once you arrive, you will embark on a guided tour of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari’s temple. During the visit, you will have free time to explore the site and take photos. Afterward, you will depart for Aswan airport to catch your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, you will receive assistance and be transferred to the hotel for accommodation in Cairo.

Day 8

Departure

After breakfast, you’ll check out of your hotel, and we’ll take you back to the Cairo International Airport for your return flight to your home country.
